Japanese Millionaire Will Be SpaceX’s First Tourist

Japanese billionaire businessman Yusaku Maezawa will be the first private passenger to fly around the moon , the space research company SpaceX reported today.

The flight will take place in 2023 in a rocket called BFR , which is being built by SpaceX and will be subjected to extensive testing in the coming years.

This is the dream of my whole life, "said Maezawa, 42.
I love the moon since I was a child, "he finished.

Maezawa plans to invite six to eight artists from around the world to join him for the weeklong flight, the businessman said at an event organized by SpaceX chief executive Elon Musk. The idea is to be able to inspire these artists to produce a great artistic project.

Musk said that the large figure that Maezawa will pay for the trip - which did not require more data - will allow financing the development of the SpaceX rocket.

He is the bravest person and the one who most wanted to do it, "said Musk, referring to the future crew member.
The last time the man traveled to the moon was in 1972 , during the era of Apollo flights.
